The Films -Part 1 : THE CENTRE FOR RITUAL OCCULT STUDIES COLLECTION
The films are numerous and varied. In the last two years there have been at least 4 completely new films made and also a collaboration with the 'Centre For Ritual Occult Studies'(CROS) which saw the creation of multiple videos and audio. The Centre do not have any internet presence but a small amount of information can be found here.
Yes those works, believed to be 5 in number, are only available on a limited number of physical DVDs. They have never been seen in public and do not exist online. However one work by the CROS did find its way onto the 'Youtube' and can be viewed below. The works created in conjunction with this group are a Type of work called a 'Video Thought Transmission' and were created to aid with the receiving of communications from telepathic entities,
Here is a piece of writing taken from some unpublished CROS literature, The italics have been added to show where note forms were written in the writing.
Video Thought Transmission(VTT) are experiments in using digital video imagery to [Converse with/Scyre...?]
VTT's manipulate footage gathered by the OROR to impress upon the viewer the nature of Occult Theoretics . The Hermetic [Sic] Orders used ritual and ceremonial magic acts to produce within its members a 'higher Consiousness' [insert here Aeitster Crowleys Definition of magick] "Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will."
Through repeated Video images that contain heremetic/thothinan/MADE UP PLASTIC
Further to the above writing are other extracts regarding the VTTs on the original disc:
"You may see within these films repeated images, this is to be expected as both ritual and ceremonial magic do deal in repeated imagery. Indeed by its very nature ritual magic is about the repeated actions, this we see in the VTT"
Now there does exist an unfinished review of these video works by the acclaimed Occult expert Barnaby Von Peipersnook which can now, for the first time be viewed online here along with a short film of the man himself.
Finally the CROS would like to thank the OKOK/Orb Editions for their audio input. There are snatches of their works on various output of the Centre For Ritual Occult Studies Video Thought Transmission Films.
